Motivation

It’s been a long week. The sticky notes are piled high on my desk and I feel like the hours are slipping by without having produced anything. The words don’t seem to be coming, I am unmotivated in my day job, and I don’t have the energy to work out or eat right. Then comes the guilt. It sits heavy in my chest. I am not accomplishing anything at work, I am not accomplishing anything with my writing, and I am not getting any closer to that job at home with my kiddos.

Definitely a slump day. But that’s ok, they happen. Now I have to pull myself up and finish my work. Tomorrow is another day.

Do you want to know who you are? Don’t Ask, act! Action will delineate and define you.” – Thomas Jefferson
